About
The work included here is a combination of layers of color, textures, substances and methods. I am a mixed media artist that is inspired by the ocean, culture, the environment, the rhythms and tides of our lives, and mixing bold colors. As a California native who has lived on the east coast for more than 20 years, I seek new experiences, conversations, and new methods to try to answer the big questions of life.Being an artist is about expressing what my day job is unable to do but what is necessary for the health of my soul. In addition to paint, fabric, brushes, and canvas, I am thankful that there is also yoga, good food, fun people and the outdoors to keep me inspired while I am away from the studio.I often document my journey and post my most recent work on Instagram - follow me there to stay connected! Here is a list of some of the places I have studied. I am a curious person who is still taking workshops, reading books and learning from others.
